No One Gets Through Life Alone
When you were born, someone welcomed you into the world and provided the things that kept you alive. When you were a kid, someone taught you to read and write. When you were an adult, someone took a chance on you and gave you that first job. Sometimes we pretend we're self-made, but we all know better.
Sometimes We Hit Spots That Are More Difficult
Maybe you're single and having your first baby. Maybe you're dealing with some deep, emotional trauma. Maybe you just feel lonely most days. A huge part of living in community is helping each other through these times. At Mosaic, we've made being a voice of hope and encouragement a main value for a reason.
Your First Step
Help comes in all forms. Maybe you're looking for friends. Maybe you need counseling help. Maybe you're afraid you'll be sleeping on the streets tonight. Wherever you're at, we suggest you take a couples steps:
- Go to a Sunday gathering at a community of faith. You're always welcome to spend time with us, but we know there are many good communities in every part of the city.
- If you come to Mosaic, participate in a mid-week M group. Life groups are great ways to learn more about the Scriptures and be encouraged. Sports groups are great ways to make friends. And there are many other opportunities to connect with encouraging people.
- Call the Mosaic office if you feel you need counseling. We have friends who are professional counselors that share office space with Mosaic. We highly recommend speaking with a trained counselor if you're working through serious issues in life.
